High speed winds cause damage and casualties in Ottawa and Ontario

Thursday April 28th 2011, winds climbed to 90 km/h in Ottawa and surrounding regions. 40 + 000 homes were left without electricity in the Outaouais region, some for two days.

There were some casualties; some trees fell on cars (some injured, and I believe some were killed... I'm not sure), and one man in Niagara Falls was killed by a flying garage door.

Overall, we can't entirely complain; Wen. Apr 27th '11 & Thurs. Apr 28th '11 over 150 tornadoes (most of which were force 5, the deadliest) tore through the southern United-States, killing over 300 people. I do feel sorry for these people... Alabama was declared in state of emergency by President Obama.
