"Bridesmaids" pre-review.

Tomorrow I will be uploading my review of the soon to be released "Bridesmaids".

Voters cheated by the system... Again. (Click here and see)

"At the time of writing, these were the actual seats won and leading for each party: CON 167, NDP 102, LIB 34, BQ 4, GREEN 1

If the seats were won in proportion to the votes that were cast, the numbers would look like this:
CON 122, NDP 95, LIB 59, BQ 19, GREEN 13
According to these results, the Conservatives have won 54.22% of the seats with only 39.62% of the votes, one of the least legitimate majorities in Canadian history." Wayne Smith

Quelques statistiques, sur 14 720 580 d'électeurs, 5 832 401 ont votés Harper! Source: Élections Canada

Tea party gets elected in Canada

That got your attention, didn't it?

WARNING: OPINION PIECE

Harper used to be part of an extremist right-wing party, much like the Tea Party in the U.S., however now he flies under the "Conservative" banner, much like the Tea Party with the Republicans.

And like the Republican-voters in the U.S., the Conservative voters here in Canada seem completely blind to the wrong-doing their party leader is doing. They can't compute it. We should get de-programmers here in Canada. Maybe then they will wake up and smell the ammonia.

So, the fact that Harper is in power for me is exactly as though the Tea Party won here in Canada.

Are we that brain-dead and un-opinionated? I guess so...

WARNING: DEBATE PIECE, OPINION PIECE

Back in 2004 when George W. Bush was re-elected President of the U.S., many world-wide turned to the Unitedstatesians and said "What the f*ck is wrong with you people?" (Robin Williams, Weapons of Self-Destruction, 2009). I imagine similar reactions are happening world-wide today, only this time, they're staring open-mouthed in shock at us.

Are we just so depraved of an independent thought and/or opinion here in Canada that we believe whatever bullsh*t is used to brain-wash us? I think so, unfortunately. My proof? We re-re-elected Stephen Harper! Not only did we re-elect him, but we gave him a f*cking majority! Explain that to me, Canada; explain to me why you think a neo-Nazi like Harper should be running this once benevolent and democratic country? Why are we alowing Harper to tell us how we think?

I don't get it... I really don't get it...

The future of the arts here in Canada

WARNING: DEBATING PIECE, OPINION PIECE

Many in the entertainment and arts industries watching the elections last night probably thought like @Eva Gougeon-Avila: "Oh, boy..." Either that, or "Oh, f*ck. We're screwed". I know I did.

Why? Because now that FOX News North - I mean, Sun TV - is unfortunately up and running, Harper wants to cut over 16 million $ in government funding to CBC/Radio-Canada. He wants to get rid of copyright laws here in Canada. He wants to bring the CRTC back under government control. And that's just the beginning. It's an basically an egregious "F U!" to the arts and entertainment here in Canada. Even Céline Galipeau was looking a little pale while announcing results at Radio-Canada last night.

Who knows, maybe all the art that will exist a few years from now will be propagandic art like Hitler's Germany so as to further brainwash Canadians to believe that Harper is actually good for us.

The future of the arts and entertainment here in Canada us very bleak indeed, leaving many to wonder: "How much longer will I have my job? More importantly, how much longer will I have job opportunities here in Canada?"

Letter to Jack Layton

Dear M. Layton:

Congratulations on finally becoming opposition leader. I'm sorry Ontario let you down so...

However, work still needs to be done, M. Layton.

Many claim that elected members of your party have no experience. Many were elected just because Quebecers wanted change, as you promised them, regardless whether the representative was qualified or no.

So, now is the time, M. Layton. Now is the time for your young team to gain the experience needed to prove to the nay-sayers, to the brainwashed-Conservative-voters, that the NDP is capable of running Canada at the next elections in 2015.

So, roll up your sleeves, M. Layton; you have a busy four years ahead of you. But, remember; Quebec and change-wanters across Canada are here for you.

Good luck.

Canada under Harper...

Hopefully, we will get rid of Harper someday... Until then, we have now turned a dark chapter in Canada...
