The political landscape of Canada has morphed...

Harper marks the history books by winning a 3rd consecutive election, this time by getting a majority, even though the Conservatives only have 40% of the votes.

Layton in the first ever NDP opposition leader. Thank you, QC.

Ignatieff and Duceppe have both resigned, having both lost their seats.

The Bloc Quebecois and the Liberals are both almost annihilated.

The Green Party is ecstatic to be getting their first seat ever; Elizabeth May won it.

Yes, the political landscape of Canada has truly changed...

Hopefully, the NDP will win the next election.

The Bloc Quebecois will likely no longer exist by then, because their time has come to pass, as the Quebecers have realised.

Hopefully, the Liberals will soon make Trudeau their leader. Either that, or he goes NDP. Either way, it'll be a good thing for Canada.

Hopefully some day, the Tea Party-wannabes will be thrown out of the Conservative party so that they may become a centre-right party again, like in the time of Mulroney, etc.

Hopefully.
