Gas leak at St-Laurent Shopping Centre OC Transpo hub! (Click here!)
Both the hub and the shopping centre have been evacuated.
That area is prone to gas leaks it would seem... late last year, La Cite collegiale and its on-campus residence were also evacuated due to a gas leak.
CBC reports that at 1:55 PM, the station was re-opened after gas leak was contained.
At 10:05 PM local time, CBC Ottawa announced THIS. All I can say is, 'Please, not another gas leak!'

The explosion happened at 10:40 AM local time.
One student has life-threatening injuries, three others are injured, another has died (Eric Leighton according to @Meghan_Hurley). The school was evacuated.
Some parents say they did not receive calls from the school board, instead their children texted them about what happened.
Some say the explosion happened in auto shop class, while other reports coming from students say that they were BBQing when a gas tank exploded.
Apparently there is confusion as to whether 18-yr-old Eric Leighton is actually dead. Although paramedics say he has passed away, other reports are coming in that he has come back to life.
Confirmed by CBC News : as of 12:30 PM, Eric Leighton has come back to life! He apparently has an injury to the head. I'm not sure.
Reports are in now that it was an empty 45 gallon drum of peppermint oil that caused the explosion. Apparently the peppermint fumes flash-ignited whilst the students worked on BBQs.
3:30 PM: Reports are in now that a total of six are injured, including a teacher.
8:49 PM: Eric Leighton passed away from his injuries.
ON MAY 27TH, WEAR PURPLE IN MEMORIAM OF ERIC LEIGHTON.
