Hilary Duff is pregnant!
First a newlywed and now a new mom! Hilary Duff, 23, announced on her website this weekend that she and her NHL hubby Mike Comrie, 30, are in fact expecting a new addition to their family. The former Disney star is celebrating her one year wedding anniversary with her beau (reportedly in Malibu), and in celebrationrevealed to her fans:
“We also want to share the exciting news that BABY MAKES THREE!!! We are extremely happy and ready to start this new chapter of our lives. Thanks to everyone for the continued love and support throughout the years!”
The baby news comes as a bit of a surprise seeing as she recently said she was too young for kids.
Earlier this month, when asked by Access Hollywood if she was thinking of having kids, she responded:
“We talk about it. Yes, we’re excited to do that, but I think I want to work a little more. I’m tossing around the idea of making another record… We want it, and we’re excited for it but think it can wait a while longer… He is supportive of me. We both are excited to do that, but he knows I’m still young.”
